One of the Memphis metro area’s newest communities, Piperton was incorporated in 1974. It currently has a population of 2,263. Fayette County Public Schools serves the Piperton community. Private schools in the area include Fayette Academy, Rossville Christian Academy, St. George’s Independent School, Incarnation Catholic School, and Briarcrest Christian School. If you’re looking for a community with plenty of outdoor adventure opportunities, look no further. To the east of town, you’ll find Herb Parsons Lake State Park and Ghost River State Natural Area.
